I love how you not only get an academic education but also a faith-based education.  It starts with a basis even in young children, where they are able to have a love for learning and a love for Jesus.  The class sizes are small, but each class carries along friendships that the kids are able to take with them when they completer First Academy.

What do I love about teaching at First Academy? I love that we have a great group of teachers who love and support one another both professionally and spiritually. I love the small class sizes and being able to know most of my students from a young age as they move throughout the school.

What do I love about teaching at First Academy? I love being able to read God's word every day and learn about His love and sacrifice. I also enjoy seeing the children respond in worship during chapel.

What do I love about teaching at First Academy? I love working at First Academy because I feel that I am able to use my job as a ministry in my life. When working in public school, you aren't able to share your faith openly with your students without possible repercussions. Here at First Academy, we have daily conversations about our Lord with our students and help develop them into the next generation. Teaching can be a tough career, but seeing these kids grow closer to God is so rewarding and makes it all worth it.
