Program Description
The Arkansas Department of Education has created a program for Educational Freedom Account (EFA) funding. The EFA, made possible through the Arkansas LEARNS Act legislation, may be used by eligible families to cover private school tuition, fees, uniforms, and some other required expenses. EFAs provide funding up to 90% of the state's prior year per-student funding amount, with the amount adding up to $6,856 for 2024-2025. While First Academy may receive public funds, the vouchers do not impact our Christian foundation and curriculum.
Current Family Re-Enrollment
Families who participated and received funds in the 2023-2024 school year are eligible to receive funding again simply through re-enrolling in the program.
